We provide the encrypted wallet file as a result of performing the recovery. This will be returned to you. We never request your passphrase. We do not access your wallet. There is no requirement for us to know what you have stored within your wallet, and we do not want to. What we provide back to you is an encrypted file which you alone can decrypt.
This arrangement was made deliberately. Any laboratory requesting your passphrase to verify the recovery would be attempting to obtain control over your assets, and there is no technical necessity to make this request. Verifying that a wallet file is structurally correct does not require accessing the keys contained within the wallet.
Our fees for recovery services are a flat rate for the work involved. Our fees are provided prior to beginning the service. We do not charge any type of percentage based on the amount recovered. Using a percentage-based method of charging for recovery services would create a scenario where, if successful, the recovery firm benefits directly from the contents of your wallet, and that is a relationship we are unwilling to enter into.
If anyone asks for your seed phrase, stop. The only time anybody would require your seed phrase (or passphrase/private key) is when the individual wants to steal from you. Many times these types of requests are disguised as tech support.
We charge for wallet file recovery like all other types of normal data recovery (i.e. from £300 +VAT for one physical drive) and this cost will be confirmed in writing after the initial free diagnostic, then never changed.
There are no percentages, shares, or success fees based on the amount of money contained within your wallet. This is because our work is always the same regardless of how much money may be present and we should not have an interest in either case.
Normal recovery procedures are followed to recover the file(s) from the drive. Once recovered, we send them back to you still encrypted. Unlocking them will also require that you provide the passphrase you originally used to create your wallet. We will never ask you to give us your passphrase.

Never. Anybody asking for it is trying to steal your money. Once you've received the encrypted file back, you decrypt the file on your own, outside of our control.
This depends upon the model of your wallet. If you have written down your seed phrase you don't need any form of recovery: simply restore your wallet onto another device. Not from the phone itself. Storage on a phone is soldered directly to the motherboard of the phone, so it is not something we recover. However, if the wallet was previously backed up to a computer or some form of cloud-based storage account, then those backups will likely represent your best opportunity to recover the contents of your wallet.
